The legacy of the Berlin Conference continues to shape African relationships today, even in the diaspora, where national boundaries often influence how Africans connect with each other.

Sabi Africa Center was created to challenge these divisions by bringing Africans from across the continent together in a spirit of unity, shared identity, and collaboration. We believe that Africa’s strength lies in its diversity, but meaningful progress only happens when Africans work together beyond borders.

At the same time, we recognise that many perceptions of Africa in Europe are shaped by limited understanding. Sabi Africa Center exists to foster dialogue, celebrate African strengths, address real challenges with honesty, and create spaces where our European neighbours can engage with Africa through authentic stories, culture, and shared experiences.

Through connection, collaboration, and cultural exchange, Sabi Africa Center works to build bridges within African communities and between Africa and the wider world.
